TEi-Listing Services is a Product Certification Body, accredited to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA, cert #2946.01), and accepted by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) as a third-party listing agency. We specialize in listing Recreational Vehicle components, and we’re accredited to certify compliance with many standards published by ASME, ASTM, CSA, IAPMO, NSF, and UL, among others. We can list many other different kinds of products to standards not in our scope of accreditation, as long as your governing body does not require listing by an accredited certification body.
Why Get Listed?
In the public interest, some industries and government bodies require certain products to meet standards of safety and quality. These standards are written and made publicly available by reputable organizations. Your product is not allowed to be sold in the marketplace unless it meets the specified standards, and has been proven to do so by an independent third party.
What are the Requirements for Listing?
If your product is intended for sale in the recreational vehicle industry, please review our RV Certification Program – Information and Requirements document. For any other type of product, please review our General Certification Program – Information and Requirements document.
Once we have certified that your product meets all the necessary requirements, we add it to our list of certified products; thus, your product is said to be listed. You are also granted a license to use our certification mark on your product, as a demonstration that you have received third-party certification and listing. Having this mark adds value to your product, because your customers will know that it has been independently tested and they can have confidence in its quality.
How Do I Get Started?
Download, fill out, and return the Application for Product Certification. Please be as thorough as possible. We’ll need a set of technical documentation for each product you want listed. That includes things like drawings, bills of materials, etc. The more information we have, the less time it will take to evaluate your product. You then submit the completed form and documentation to us, and we’ll get started!
After You’re Listed
Once you’re listed with TEi-LS, you have a license to use our certification mark on your listed products, as long as you continue to meet the requirements for listing and pay your invoices on time. We’ll do follow-up inspections and selected testing every year to verify your ongoing good standing.
If you want to make changes to your listing (add new products, change a product’s design, or change suppliers), we need to approve and document the change. Just complete a Certification Amendment Application, and we’ll handle that for you right away.
